Special Plans for Handling Emergencies

The Cardiology Institute has implemented a new Special Plan within the Emergency Service for its international patients, based on a patient care model that complies with high quality standards.

This updated concept is designed to provide a different patient experience, an improved space, new technology, and continuous assistance from patient care and administrative personnel, who will ensure the well-being of patients during the entire patient care cycle by attending to their needs and those of their families.

The new space is governed by institutional management and infrastructure plans which call for the expansion of the Adult Emergency Service. Six observation rooms, a nursing station, technology for continuous patient monitoring, automated sample delivery, and an area for respiratory therapy and the administration of medications will enable the Institute to offer clinical services and procedures that comply with current qualification standards governed by regulatory agencies.
